Rothschild Mental Health Counseling, PLLC is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to people with disabilities. We want everyone who visits rothschildcounseling.com to be able to find information and reach our care, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Our Commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and review the site regularly.
Measures We Take
Steps we have taken to support accessibility include:
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, and footer) and a “skip to main content” link on every page.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu and language switcher, with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Form fields with descriptive labels, clearly marked required fields, and error messages that are announced to assistive technology.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
- Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” preference.
- Support for text resizing and reflow down to a 320 pixel-wide viewport without loss of content.
- Content available in English, Spanish, and Russian, with the page language identified for screen readers.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Certain features rely on third-party services — such as our appointment scheduler (Zocdoc), client portal, embedded videos (YouTube), and spam protection (reCAPTCHA) — whose accessibility we do not fully control. If you encounter difficulty with any of these, please contact us and we will help you complete your task by another means, such as by phone.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, or need information on this site provided in a different format, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly:
